The Main Green

The Main Green is what Brown University calls its main outdoor area. Every large university has one and it’s the place where everything seems to happen. The Quiet Green

Faunce House is one of several buildings that surround the Main Green. For many years already, it has served as a student hub inside the campus. It was renovated in 2012 and was renamed as the Campus Center. The 100-plus-year-old building was given a much-needed facelift and modern features. Students spend a lot of time at the Campus Center. It’s where they take a break to have coffee, study at one of the student lounges, and deal with administrative requirements. Pembroke Campus

Pembroke Campus is an old women’s college. When Brown started to welcome female students, the students, as well as the facilities of Pembroke, were absorbed by Brown.
